How do I clean and take care of my toilet seat?
To clean your toilet seat, use only mild, soapy water with a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry completely with a clean cloth.
To preserve the finish, avoid exposing the seat to aerosol products, abrasive chemicals, or cosmetics such as nail polish, aftershave, and harsh cleansers.
Do not use bleach, pine oils, essential oils, chlorine, acids, disinfectants, aerosol products, hard brushes, abrasive scouring powders, or pads. These harsh chemicals and tools can damage the paint finish, corrode metal hinges, and dull plastic surfaces.
Warranty
Toilet seats and specified bidets are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a minimum of one year from the date of purchase. If a defect is found, Bemis will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price (excluding shipping, if applicable).
The warranty does not cover expenses related to removal or installation. Plastic seats are suitable for both commercial and residential use, while enameled wood and soft seats are intended for residential use only.
