Its super-absorbent polymer core rapidly pulls in wound fluid—even under compression—and converts it into a secure gel, helping protect the surrounding skin from maceration and promoting an optimal healing environment. Because it is non-adhesive, OptiLock removes easily and gently, minimizing pain and disruption to fragile tissue.
OptiLock can be used as a primary dressing on partial- and full-thickness wounds, including pressure ulcers, venous and neuropathic ulcers, post-operative wounds, superficial and partial-thickness burns (first- and second-degree), lacerations, and abrasions. It can also serve as a secondary dressing for deeper full-thickness wounds.
